FYELP is dedicated to one of the most innovative, gifted, and greatest, yet sadly seemingly forgotten bands of the 20th century. Here we pay tribute to them by posting pictures, quotes, random stories and anecdotes, shit we find amusing, and more, but most importantly, we focus on the incredible music created by Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and Carl Palmer during their brief but flourishing decade together, as well as the music of their pre- and post-ELP bands.

We try to keep each post as historically accurate as possible. Pictures, videos, news, audio, etc. are all tagged with the year in which they were published, taken, or recorded. For years we are unsure about, we just tag the posts as "approximate date".

As a general disclaimer, we are not affiliated with ELP personally nor do we make a profit from this. We are just fans spreading the love. Unless otherwise stated, nothing on this blog belongs to us, and anything that does will be tagged as "personal". If you recognize something that is yours and do not wish to have it posted here, contact us and we'll gladly remove it. Also please let us know if you see something that is yours and want proper credit attached to it. We have a lot of pictures and things saved and don't always remember where we found them, though we're really working to change that.
